How do I create a shortcut for UpToDate?

Once the software is installed:

1. Click on the Go menu.
2. Open the Applications folder.
3. Open the UpToDate folder.
4. Open the app folder.
5. Click once on the UpToDateOSX14 icon.
6. Click on the File menu.
7. Click on Make Alias.

Why is UpToDate running slowly?

Several factors can cause UpToDate to run slower than expected.

The most likely cause is an anti-virus program. You should temporarily disable the anti-virus program before starting UpToDate and see if that will improve the application's performance.

Likewise, other applications that are running when UpToDate is running may slow your computer down and impede performance.

How do I delete UpToDate from my computer?

Please note: You do not need to delete your old version of UpToDate to install the next release.

To uninstall UpToDate from a Macintosh:

1. Close all open programs.
2. Drag the UpToDate alias to the Trash.
3. Double-click the Hard Drive icon.
4. Double-click the Applications folder.
5. If you want to save your CME credit, do the following (otherwise, proceed to Step 6):
   1. Double-click the UpToDate folder.
   2. Double-click the Content folder.
   3. Drag the CME_LOGS folder to the desktop.
6. Drag the UpToDate folder to the Trash.
7. From the Special menu, select Empty Trash.
